Teachers are not merely imparters of knowledge; they are the architects of the future of society and the nation. It is through their guidance, values, and inspiration that the creation of a strong and conscious society becomes possible. To honor this sentiment, Rishikul Yoga Peeth organized a special event on the occasion of Teachers’ Day at Sahkarita Bhawan, Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), where I had the privilege of attending as a distinguished guest.
This program was dedicated to honoring teachers and expressing gratitude for their unparalleled contributions. The distinguished presence of teachers, educationists, social activists, and prominent figures from various parts of the state made the event truly special. During the program, detailed discussions were held regarding the importance of education, the role of teachers, and their responsibilities in shaping the character of today’s youth.
During my address, I stated that a nation’s true strength lies in its teachers. A teacher is not confined merely to the curriculum; rather, they shape the personalities, thoughts, and values of their students. Teachers play a paramount role in bringing about positive societal change and guiding the new generation in the right direction. Through their knowledge, experience, and dedication, they mold citizens who become the foundation for the future progress of the country and society.
I had the opportunity to exchange views with the esteemed teachers and guests present at the event. Meaningful discussions on various topics made it clear that education is not merely a means of securing employment but the most powerful tool for building a better society. In today’s changing times, it is crucial to foster moral values, Indian culture, and life skills alongside formal education.
This event, organized by Rishikul Yog Peeth, was not merely about honoring teachers; it was also an inspiring initiative aimed at steering society in a positive direction through education, sanskars(values), and yoga. The integration of yoga and education plays a vital role in an individual’s physical, mental, and spiritual development. That is precisely why the need for such events is being felt more than ever today.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Rishikul Yog Peeth and the organizing committee for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this significant occasion. I also convey my warm Teachers’ Day wishes to all the esteemed teachers; their dedication, hard work, and contribution to nation-building will always remain a source of inspiration.
